  1. Bill

I just copied 371 of my favorite songs to it in no time at all. I’ll use it to listen them to in my car.On the slightly negative side It took almost as long to get the drive out of its packaging as it did to copy the music.

Well, so far so good. It’s fast. I can transfer large amounts of files in minutes. The 128 gigabytes of space is more than enough for what I need at the moment. It’s pretty straight forward and easy to use. The quick start PDF makes it easy to get started. The SanDisk SecureAccess software seems like it’s very secure in protecting my files. I can just drag and drop things into the vault.

I needed a usb drive to back up my ps4 data since I’m switching out my ps4 hard drive to an ssd. This flash drive is perfect for it. It has the option to format it into exFAT which is necessary because ps4 can only detect FAT32 and exFAT. Backing up data was a breeze. Highly recommended.

I was wondering that this unit is fake but it was NOT!!!IT is worth it to keep for the price you pay. With my old computer, USB 2.0 connection, it reads 32 mb/s and writes 16 to 17 mb/s.

I actually wish it were bigger so it wouldn’t be easy to lose. Saved me from buying extra google storage and it’s a full backup for my laptop files. My laptop is older so I don’t know when it might give out on me but I don’t have to worry about my data.

I have a cheap ass Chevy Equinox car radio I was considering replacing. The USB has been very finicky and two different USB sticks have just stopped working in it, including a premium Verbatim. The dealer says it is the stick not the port (twice) and charged me for diagnostics. So I decide to try this…problem solved, and the bass sounds more solid and highs crisper. May be the faster transfer speed of the USB3.0 capability, so the radio, not the stick is the limitation. Anyway now my radio is as “supremely adequate” as the rest of the car. Yep I am a fan.

Does what it says and works great. I will say it is super small, I would have preferred it to be a bit larger honestly. It can see this unit getting lost easily. It looks like SanDisk intends this to be a keychain USB, thus they made it as small as possible. Not a bad thing, just something to be aware of. For me, mine goes in a computer bag pocket and it slides to the bottom and can be hard to find at times.

The 512MB San Disk Ultra Flair 512GB Flash Drive :Arrived on time. I ordered a few of these. I tested one so far and will test the others later. Works right out of the box! Nice small package. It was formatted Fat32, but I need to transfer files larger than 2GB files so I immediately did a fast format to NTFS …. no problems and it was quick. I touched it and it was warm but not hot after this. The issue with flash drives are usually the write speed as it takes time to inject the charge at each storage transistor gate. Read speed is usually OK. So I copied a 13.454GB file via the 3.0 USB port. I had other large memory applications open, but nothing was running. The windows monitoring window indicated that the write speed was initially close to 40G/sec but after a while this dropped to various smaller values and the longer it worked the slower it got. It seemed to be getting warm and perhaps there is internal control to protect it from getting too hot??? Anyway, via the Windows monitor, it finished up at around 15MB/sec. I do not know if you can believe what windows is displaying so I also timed it with a stop watch. To write the entire 13.5GB file took 15min. So the average write time was right at 15MB/sec.Read transfers are advertise as being quite fast, upto 150GB/sec. I did not time this but it seemed pretty good. Transferring a 1GB file was nearly instantaneous. So, while I can wish for better write speeds I think this is pretty good performance.

I’m using this USB device now as native media stick for a big TV – sometimes you just want to watch the same film over and over, with no ads. That goes triple for piano and guitar lessons. The read and write speeds are amazing. Even a folder filled with subfolders gets moved quickly, and remains structurally intact. You’ll want to keep one with you, in case your house burns down. Got my homeowners insurance policy right here. Got my embarrassing 5th grade school pictures right here. Got my crypto wallets right here. Moon coin for your thoughts, madame?

I’m a college student that’s working towards my degree in Information Technology, So its very helpful to have a lot of portable and quickly accessed storage. SanDisk has yet to fail me when it comes to providing quality products. This USB Drive was exactly what i needed, it’s fast when plugged into a 3.0 socket and comes packed with more than enough storage. It’s also extremely portable, i’ll admit, i was not expecting such a small size, but for me its no issue. The only “con” i would take note of is that it’s probably extremely easy to lose, but as long as you attach it to something or keep it within eyes view, you cant go wrong. If you’re looking for a USB, i recommend this one. and that’s coming from an IT student.
